The BBC are lucky they are not listed on the Stock Exchange. Their share price would be on the floor after a Trump victory.
Watched this, Starmer didn’t answer the question. Quelle surpriseThe BBC are lucky they are not listed on the Stock Exchange. Their share price would be on the floor after a Trump victory.
Anyone got a video of this Emily Maitlisss meltdown? I’ve seen one of her grilling Boris Johnson on a panel but that’s it.
O saw it on the new that day and it took about 10 seconds to find it so not sure what your point is.I have now searched further and found the articles, albeit not front and centre.
I haven't a link but I've seen the meltdown. Quite disgraceful that an experienced journalist should behave that way. I can forgive swearing as a slip of the tongue but she clearly meant it and did it again later. You had to feel sorry for Krishnan Guru Murthy he was left having to apologise to the audience.Anyone got a video of this Emily Maitlisss meltdown? Gabby Logan, you heard it here firstYup a good day for the BBC and their DG. So far the new DG seems to be doing a good job in reigning in the excesses of the BBC.
I think he weighed up the value of Mr Lineker as a presenter against his social media habit and all the trouble it causes.
No idea which diversity candidate will take over but it really doesn't matter. People watch MOTD for the football if its good they tune in, if footie becomes boring they wont. Ergo you don't need to pay a fortune to the presenter as he/she/they/WTF has a minimal impact on viewing figures.
Any chance he'll take his mate Alan with him?
Good call, tho i'd prefer 'Chappers', so it'll be Alex Scott 😒Gabby Logan, you heard it here first
Get your bet in Spider. Current odds are:Gabby Logan, you heard it here first

She's a good presenter so hopefully yes.Gabby Logan, you heard it here first
I initially thought Alex Scott but she doesn’t appear to be “flavour of the month” despite the number of boxes she ticks. Mark Chapman would be my choice. Perhaps they could take the opportunity to change the pundits as well.Good call, tho i'd prefer 'Chappers', so it'll be Alex Scott 😒
His dad, Graham Carr was a professional footballerI reckon it'll be Alan Carr, to appeal to a wider audience and demographic and not just those football oiks.
