Yes. Things certainly worked out well. However, to be honest, any Premier League side could have won the Conference league. The Europa League will be a much bigger test but having competed in the Conference League we will be in a far better position to do well.

What's the point in having a rule if then you just offer those clubs a way around it? The whole blind trust thing is complete bollocks and means nothing. As we saw when Marinakis was on the pitch berating Nuno when he had supposedly relinquished all control of the club.

Also the deadline is stupid. Who knows by March where they're going to be in next season? We certainly did not think we'd be anywhere near Europe.

Yes there's a rule, and yes we missed a deadline. The whole thing is f***ing stupid though. You should allow clubs to put shares in a blind trust at the end of the season once you know whats going on...... the whole guesswork that clubs have to do doesn't make any sense.

UEFA have a blind spot when it comes to Marinakis and palms have obviously been greased at headquarters. At best he brings the game into disrepute at worst he is a criminal who somehow avoids a prison sentence .

Time will catch up with this piece of s***, or he will have a heart attack and be gone for good!

I was thinkign along the lines of 'Champions of Europe, you'll never sing that'.

Made all the better by the fact that we were in a far inferior European competition to theirs 🤣
 
Vangelis died four years ago of congestive heart failure. Wrote some great music though which could be used in a chant. Evangelos though is still around shaking olive oily hands with the highest and the worst of European football to plot the downfall of those challenging his dominance.

That's obviously why they've moved the deadline, if you're part of an MCO then we're not going to give you a chance to wait till the end of the season, you can get it sorted before you know if your clubs will even be in the same competition. Maybe they also decided having it that late, MCO's could still gain an advantage.

UEFA know they cant stop it so lets make it as awkward as possible for MCO's.
