Only Canvot in the first half and Mitchell in the second will be regular starters. With Hughes, Johnson and Nketiah featuring from the bench.

The 12 who went to the world cup to come back plus Wharton and Oscar Mingueza who didn't play today

But disappointing all the same the fringe players didn't make more of an impact.
 
Well, I know this was a friendly trial to test some of our fringe players, but blimey, both teams we put out were dreadful. Errors galore and absolutely no sign of aggression.

Look fellas, we were playing Bromley - your pride should have told you we had to win or face a heap of criticism. Oh Pierre, what's going on?

I am hopeful we don't loan out Drakes-Thomas, I'd like him to start getting some peripheral game time next season.

This is why I don’t go to friendlies, especially at this stage of pre-season with so many players still away. I doubt nothing will have changed though once the season starts that once you get passed our best eleven we’ll struggle, which is why Glasner run certain players into the ground before Christmas because we had very little else of any quality

Whoever is on the right and cut into the box a couple of times is more lively than some of the others though in fairness. Possibly the same one who hit a corner out for a throw but made a couple of half chances. I have no sound on and a very very small video on my phone so apologies for not knowing who it is.

I used to go and watch all our pre-season defeats against Crawley but I was worried I would catch inbreeding off the Crawley fans and I've never been keen on the webbed feet big forehead aesthetic.
 
Joél, Eddie, and Brennan had a few decent moments, not enough to score though, and the other 19 players were frankly rubbish today.

A far cry from the Swindon game. Bromley do look a much better side than them though. Probably why they finished nine spaces above them.

Hope we have a few World Cup players back by the time we head to Italy. Cause if we don't, it won't be a very pleasant trip.

Was at the game.
First half was Pi*s poor.
Cardines looked tidy on the ball and the left back (dreads) had good strength. Esse not busting a gut and Franca quiet.
Second half Drakes Thomas looked decent and Imray is a unit, proper solid.
Nketiah had some clever touches.
Johnson looks like he’d lose a raffle if he had the only ticket, nothing falling for him.

Hate pre seasons, but it’s 10 minutes down the rd and my boy wanted to go.
I’ll point him in the direction of the bus stop next preseason.

My daughter wanted to go but I didn’t fancy the drive up from Kent for a friendly, and that’s someone who does go to Bromley games occasionally, get your boy to save her a seat on the bus next year 🤣
