tricky, they may be minnows but they'll fight like dogs, be organised and fairly technical - don't underestimate Scandinavian clubs. Forest game on Sunday but we need to ensure a win on Thursday so we can maybe go to Norway to park the bus with a lesser XI. How much rotation?

I'd go:

Henderson
Munoz
Sosa
Richards
Lacroix
Lerma
Wharton
Devenny
Sarr
Mateta
Eze

Rest Guehi for Sunday, if he's cheered up by then, and Hughes - play a strongish side and aim to go two or three up earlyish so subs can ensure players are rested and back up players get a run out.
 
We will be far to strong for these chaps . I think of it as playing a league 1 team in a cup match ,they will huff and puff and might keep the score down but I think we will win this with something to spare and a nice relaxing trip next week

The first team has earned their crack at Europe , they are likely looking forward to it as much as us so would go with our strongest team (we all know what that is ) to start .If we are well on top it wont be too draining for Sunday . Subs brought on as knock in the goals 😉

Yeah, I think that is pretty spot on, partly as there aren’t many other options, Clyne and Esse are decent enough to be subs, and you could rotate Guehi and Hughes on to give others a rest but that’s about it.

Mateta is is the one I’m most worried about.

Don't say that, stockport were last league 1 team we played and we struggled to win 1-0!!

Exactly. Doncaster Rovers (then League 2 promoted to League one) we were two goals up from the 55th minute so slightly easier but we didn’t exactly thrash them either.

I’d love to think we could rotate in the second half but breaking down and dominating organised teams isn’t what our success is built upon. On the plus side Edouard did score goals at a lower level…

That’s what I thought, can you imagine after all the fuss if we didn’t even qualify for the main draw now, never mind Europe, we’d get slaughtered in this country that’s for sure.
So we’ve got to go strong in the home leg at least. Hopefully we can get the job done at selhurst and then think about changes over there

Trouble is, wrong or right, we are here and we’ve got to make sure we concentrate, not underestimate the Norwegians and get the job done
 
This will be tougher than people think.

Low block at home - not where Glasner teams shine.

Artificial pitch miles from home - not where any teams shine, save the one that trains full on and plays on it every other week.

There. Excuses in early.
 
I'd like to see two early goals and then we can take Mateta and any other crucial first teamers off.

In a way I'd rather make sure we beat Forest a few days later than win this 😂
