Naturally hope this works out for us and him but it highlights a problem with the Premier League that some clubs can spend £250 m + while others are dealing in free transfers, knackered or injured players, unknown quantities who might work out and promising young players who won't sign without a release clause.
It feels as though the money clubs are overspending to drive up the general prices and keep competition to a minimum.

This matches my feelings and I have commented upon mayn BBC sport articles on this matter, which, although obviously not changing anything, does allow me to let off steam. There was an article titled "Why does Arsenal want to but Guimaries (spelling??) from Newcastle?" For me it's obvious and that is, to remove any player from any club that might interfere with the "big-six" exclusive club. It gets on my t#*# when there is this constant stream of shite about for example, Chelsea (could be any of them) are interest in signing a CB from xxx even thougj they just bought one. Rant over.............for now!
