I'm a Belgian researcher based at the University of Bath on understanding fan views towards sponsorship in football.
With the Premier League due to remove gambling brands from the front-of-shirts at the end of the 2025-26 season, a new project (**fully anonymised**) seeks to understand fans voices and attitudes, and the merits and impacts of gambling brand sponsorship more generally.
It entails a conversation of approx. 30 minutes in person or online, depending on your preference and feasibility. This conversation will be strictly anonymous, your identity as well as the club's identity. It only involves a one-off appointment and participants will receive a £15 pond Amazon voucher.
