Sunderland Predictions.

I think OG will be reluctant to start 2 players who are new to the system and squad. So as long as the normal centre backs are fit to start I think he will either go with Lerma next to Hughes, and Kamada and Pino in the advanced roles, or Kamada and Hughes, with Devenney next to Pino. Given Devenney's relative lack of experience I suspect he will opt for Lerma + Hughes, and Kamada + Pino however. Difficult game with a team lacking our usual creativity, but I will be positive and say that we will shade it 1-0.

Experience of supporting Palace teaches me to be nervous. When its backs to the wall, we are doing desperately badly, there seems no hope and we happen to be playing a top team they tend to shock us and pull a big result out the bag.
Sadly, when we are on a good run, we are about to play a 'cannon fodder' club and are overwhelming favourites we nearly always lose.

I'm going to try to be positive here and say the Glasner effect will change the usual pattern.

2-1 but I'm expecting a much harder game than many expect

Agreed. My problem is that I' ve been supporting Palace for far too long to believe this game will be an easy win. I'll be more than happy if we actually do win but won't be surprised if we end up with a draw.

We'll struggle to get rhythm without Sarr and Wharton and maybe anyone from, Richards, Guehi, Munoz(why didn't he play the second game he plays every game for Columbia). I don't think Sunderland will score despite our missing players so 0-0 is my prediction.

this will be 2/ 3-0 , score early then it’s ours , looking forward for Pino to start because sarr definitely out , looked brilliant and composed on the ball against villa , i’m excited ,
also hello everyone i’ve not posted for a while hope you all keeping well

Munoz did play the 2nd game, he didn't play the 1st due to being banned for accumulating too many yellow cards.

Both Sarr and Wharton are unlikely to play.Should they both be missing we could face an uphill battle against a Sunderland team who have won 2 of their 3 PL games.
It won’t be easy although apparently possibility Wharton could be on the bench.

Sunderland have had a bit of luck in their wins. Brentford missing that penalty was crucial

Id take this, but with a couple of tweaks:

Henderson

Richards Lacroix Guehi

Munoz Hughes Kamada Mitchell

Uche(or Esse) Pino

Mateta

Reckon there's solidity and Goals in that line up. 2-0 Win.
Nice line up however I expect Kamada attacking left where Eze played and Yeremy on the other side of mateta.
Lerma and Hughes in the middle. Excited to see how we get on in a tough but winnable game. Usually Munoz is understandably not at his best first game back. Anyway come on you eagles!

Agree that’s the team and positions I expect him to play. Can see Uche being first change
