Stuff with Place-names intertwined

Certainly if we didn't have an exotic name for it the appeal would be lessened. But passing it off as a cultural experience is a sure fire way to spice up the marriage.
Not sure anywhere in the US is that exotic. Hawaii perhaps - but they don't even want to be in it. Maybe somewhere else in the Gulf of America, Ocean of America, Pole of America, or Tropic of America?

Crystal Palace (the place), didn't exist before a giant greenhouse was put there by Joseph Paxton. The greenhouse was put on Sydenham Hill, now Crystal Palace Parade.

I love this shops trading name (taken from1936), which was in the Triangle. Not sure if it's still there.

I'd guess '90s?
I used to do a lot of work in the triangle around then, interesting location.
I may be wrong, but I think it was a posh candle store by the 2000's ?

It's real name is Upper Norwood isn't it? No 'Lower' just West Norwood as you reverse up Beulah Hill and South Norwood where our magnificent state of the art stadium resides. No East Norwood, and North Norwood would be tautological. And there's no West Grinstead or West Cheam, though Acton boasts the full compliment of compass points, no East Ealing though and there's only North Greenwich unless you're from Deptford and say you're from West Greenwich. And there's only South Bermondsey and South Tottenham which is much more than enough of both those places. Strange innit? Or isn't it?
