Could be wrong, but the info I have is that he was born Sep 3 2003OK, he's not 21 yet, he's had 2 loans, Burton last season & Beveren in Belgium start of this season. Darren Powell the U21s manager has hardly changed 'half the team' every game as you call it, he made 4 subs today, 2 for injury, 1 to stop a player being sent off with a 2nd yellow. As for losing best prospects' who/where?
Tha palace match reports constantly refer to the manager making 5-6 changes to the starting lineup. Could be the U18's I suppose
From a recent article in The Athletic "Derry has rejected a professional contract and informed the club that he does not intend to sign professional terms, while Watson joined Chelsea in July. A third well-thought-of youngster, Samuel Lusale, joined Manchester United in September."
It also mentioned that Watson (who only turned 15 in January) has already appeared for Chelsea U-21's
p.s. From today's Match report
- Six changes to the side which drew with Norwich
