Putting aside his terrible policies such as The Chagos giveaway, what does he think he is doing in front of TV cameras making pronouncements on Iran and other global events.

IMO

For a long time now the UK has not had any ability to extend power in any meaningful way

The only thing UK can offer is a few planes and a couple of airbases.

Neither Iran or Israel have the slightest care over the UK position on anything, but Israel is not happy with the UK bending over for pro Hamas marches , the general anti semitism of the UK left and the ass kissing of any Islamic group they can find.

Starmer just appears as what he is , someone desperately seeking to appear relevant on the world stage. All politicians do it when then they put on camo and sit in a tank etc but he spends a lot of time flying around instead of addressing the problems in the UK which of course he can't because his economic plans are clearly failing and the budget for the current parliament is screwed.

Him chirping on Iran / USA conflict is for what audience, his sick bag u turn on POTUS pre and post election is just pure cringe

Where are Spitting Images when you need them

You have to go back to Harold Wilson to find the last Prime Minister with enough common sense to keep out of a war.

It seems our political overlords have still not learned the lessons of the Suez crisis.

Every time there is an international crisis they love to strut their stuff on the world stage. It's odd that Spain, Italy , Greece, Germany and the Nordics countries (to name a few) don't feel the same urge.

We are no longer a world power so unless there is a direct threat to this country we should behave the same as most other western countries. Mumble a few sympathetic words send a few food aid packages and do bugger all.

I'm sick of British body bags coming back just to soothe the ego of politicians who would not know what real heroism and patriotism was if you him them in the face with it.

Joseph Chamberlain had it right when he called for a policy of "Glorious isolation" he meant we should stop sticking our noses in other peoples troubles.

not sure what your issue is. He's asked the question and has given a diplomatic answer.

I don't think any Western country is happy with Iran but he is also careful to avoid conflict, is this not a good thing?

Dealing with Trump must be very difficult and he seem to handle it reasonably well.

The fact that the attacks were done without using UK bases is not a coincidence IMHO - he has basically told the US that he will support them with words but not with any military assistance as we don't want to be pulled into an avoidable conflict.

There are Starmer bashers who just have a pop whatever he does or doesn't do.

Maybe the issue you have is that the UK is a joke on the world stage, but let's blame it all on some bloke who's not even been in charge for 12 months.

People will think what they like to think about Starmer, but when it comes to international issues, he hasn’t done to badly considering the condition of this countries reputation. Any semblance of a reputation left after the Iraq, fiasco which wasn’t much anyway has been lost in the last 14 years when we seemed hell bent on proving, Yes! We really are a joke.

Lets do a Two Tier Test.

Upload a quote from Trump onto your Facebook/Twitter/whatever. Especially if the quote was funny or humorous. But pretend it was yourself that said it. And see if Kier would be tempted to bully you ?

And then forward the outcome to The Donald. Two Tier sense of humour ?

He's the best PM since the Duke of Wellington*. 😀

*Great general awful PM and hated by the public. The nickname Iron Duke had nothing to do with his military exploits but referred to iron shutters he had installed over his windows after a mob smashed them.

High praise. You're saying he's better than all PMs since Welsley, which includes Churchill.

Or maybe the politics and strategies of this country are now under Islamic influence.

Two Tier, Keir needs those votes.
