Starmer..what a joke on the world stage

Listening to him today, he is pretending that yesterday never happened.
Now there is no one to nail him he has rowed back on his "yes I knew" statement from yesterday - gaslighting in the extreme and Steve Reid has been doing the same.
He will survive this I reckon but quite how, I do not know.
He is utterly useless and without moral compass.

I think if you asked anybody about Mandleson they would have said he is not appropriate for the US ambassador job, but Starmer gave it to him.
The only reason I could see for it is that his position would give him diplomatic immunity and he could be 'protected' until something like WW3 started and he would be forgotten about.
Starmer is toast but probably not until after the May elections when the party can start anew.

Your reason sounds a bit conspiracy but the rest of this post is hard to disagree with.

The loathsome Keith Vaz was bunged out of parliament twice based on conduct... and came back both times. He clearly knew where the bodies were buried. As, I suspect, does Mandelson.

Having had several dealings with Vaz, in an official capacity, to describe him as loathsome is a gross understatement and an insult to loathsome people

Labour's problem is not just Starmer. It's the fact that no one in the cabinet is capable of improving matters in the polls. They are all given their support to him because anyone not doing so would be sacked if Starmer held on, and because they realise that, given a lack of replacement, Starmer going could well mean a general election.

Pure self interest all round.
 
It's just like BJ's Government all over again. There is no distinction between the incapabilities of the main parties swapping Governments.
I cannot trust Sir Keir, who so obviously is living a lie, that it's merged into his job. There is not a politician out there who hasn't got a nose like Pinocchio.

But more importantly, these elites are failing. They are failing society.
They are the worst generation of elites, who are getting the biggest rewards, either legally, or by other means.
