Very strange. I don't like to think that 'music' produced by a computer could ever be a good thing. For me there should be some talented people involved so there is at least a recognition that real expertise is responsible for the sound we hear.

I read that this outfit have now put together two albums in short succession and if this one is anything to go by, it's all a tad sterile and repetitive with no discernible style or pattern. To my mind there are shades of other 'real' groups being copied here, the likes of Bon Jovi or Guns n' Roses seemed to creep into the first few tracks. The lyrics all sounded a bit too contrived.

Having listened to it though, I am almost ashamed to say that it's not the worst album I've listened to and actually not a bad way to spend a half hour or so.

The robots are on the march. Watch your backs lads.
 
I listen to quite a lot of Sirius XM (US satellite & online radio) in the car and on Alexa and there is an excellent DJ from San Diego called Pat St John on the Sixties Gold channel. He plays quite a bit of Beach Boys and specially the "hits" from the 2018 album "The Beach Boys with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra". It's been described as an "exercise in mawkish nostalgia" which sounds right down my alley! Any chance you can find it? Cheers :sideo:
