Spurs Predictions.

He said they have tried a back 4 numerous times on the training ground and the standard of defending just isn't good enough which is why he switched back to 3 at the back with full backs because its what our players are used to and better at.

Personally I dont have an opinion on it. If we defend better with 3 at the back regardless of personel I suppose we should go with that. There are more important things to worry about. Like whats for dinner.
We have natural wingers now. And a natural no. 9. A flat back four that plays narrow should be fine. That would be my opinion of it. The full backs can be defensive and the four stay narrow, stop crosses and the central defenders mark the one striker. As no one plays two strikers, there shouldn't be an issue. Our issue has now become midfield in my opinion. We'd have to push Wharton further forward into a creative role but then who goes behind him. 4-2-3-1 is hardly outlandish for us and might help our constantly outnumbered midfield.
I'd say it doesn't work for Glasner as he wants attacking from the full backs. I'd prefer we play more direct and actually use the wingers as outlets. Our fullbacks can't bomb down the wing every game. Yet they are. Even Mitchell will eventually be injured. We're so lucky he has such fitness.
f***ing hell, we might even catch a team out with tactics for once. Glasner could pull a tactical masterstroke. You'd think he'd like that. I wouldn't say always do it but I wouldn't say always do anything. Obviously, current managers would disagree.
Attack Spurs and they won't like it. They are not strong, but watch us give them far too much respect.
Our lack of goals should be a major red flag for the current tactics. Open play? You're having a laugh! What's that.
We're leaving ourselves as probably only really ever being able to achieve a one-nil at best. As we've seen and seen.
Is it too much to ask to use the wingers and use the striker? We'd even have options. Strand Larsen's glancing header should have told us something.
Anyway, I'm making dinner. Meatballs in gravy.

I think it makes a lot of sense, and if evidenced, buy how easily Clyne or Lerma have managed to slip in when needed. Neither are CBs.

Naturally makes us a bit short up the other end, but better not to concede I guess.

We are nowhere near back to our best, but we are dragging ourselves up out of that bad patch.

Tobe honest I have more faith in Canvot than who plays with him , he is still 2 years to get close to a CB , but is tracking in the right direction, , still sticking with a win at least we have Lerma on the bench

Spurs had gone on a long winless run before they came to SP and won. Since then they have gone on another long winless run.
A Palace loss tonight would put us right in the relegation mix.
We dont want that I'm going for a 1-1, with a draw we won't be out of the woods though. Looking forward to Maxence returning next game and hopefully a swansong last few games with Mateta.
C'mon Brennan Johnson lets see what we paid £35m for!

Crazy that people on an internet forum seem to think they know which formation we're better suited to than the man who trains with the squad week in, week out!

would be f***ing hilarious if Johnson scores tonight & we win.

To be honest I have no confidence in the central defence we will field tonight, accordingly I am predicting a Tottenham victory with Richarlison on the scoresheet.
I'm going to put a bet on that Willo so it definitely won't happen!

I think it is stating to obvious to say that Spurs have some very talented individuals. Kulusevski looks injured for this match which is a positive for us but there are other match winning individuals like Richarlison.

On paper it looks like a horrible fixture. But in reality both teams are struggling for form and from a Spurs perspective they do not seem to have the willingness or ability to start scrapping.

For these reasons I think we'll struggle but emerge 1-1.
