Spain will 'Regularize half a million undocumented migrants & asylum seekers'

Location
Area 51
Country
USA
Spain was one of the first nations, in the EU, to recognize the State of Palestine.

Migrants : Recent developments are in the link below......

500,000, assuming a predominantly adult male profile.....would equal 8 Emirates Stadia Capacity or 20 Selhurst parks.

Where to house newcomers ? The concept of 'Empty Spain' refers to the very many towns & villages that have suffered a massive depopulation due to economic forces. We have something similar in rural Italy and many other places....even in the UK.

Please keep the discussion legal, respectful & ethical.

Doesn't the HOL always do that?

what ? keep the discussion polite and respectful ? well yes, but pulses tend to race, and people get very emotional & shouty whenever there is any mention of the politically delicate subject of the Capacity at Selhurst.

Hasn't the UK always had this policy whenever they want to meet targets?
In Spain, these people will probably be entitled to less once regularised. They will actually end up in a softer welfare EU country (guess where?). As they will have EU freedom of movement. Spain knows that full well.
It's the rest of the EU that should be pissed off. Spain has pulled a blinder for themselves. No hotels and free food now. No entitlement to welfare as no work record. Even if they did get minimal welfare, six months at most, then get lost. That's Spain for you.
I wouldn't be surprised for half of them to be camping on the streets in France, Ireland, Germany even the UK in a few months. Not because we wouldn't house them, but because we can't.

Yep, no NHS, no Handouts, no 75% resident discounts and in about 6 months no migrants/ayslum seekers.

So, the rest of Europe will get these lads ? and they will have Spanish paperwork but not much knowledge of Spanish language, culture, religion, food, music etc......

The Brazilians, that get into Europe via Portugal, actually ARE good at speaking Portuguese. And also culturally similar by being mostly Catholic - and they often even have Portuguese surnames & ancestry.
