All of Spain & Portugal is without power. Everything is out, banking, Internet, trains, trams & loads more. Even the bars n restaurants can't operate, as shops etc, no transactions by card, ATM's are out . . .

Sounds like they have not invested in their infrastructure with sufficient backups. A lesson which I hope National Grid has learned.
