Scrap all of them and rely on the Ministry of Truth for news. Their sports coverage is a bit spotty though.
Al Jazeera is a good news channel IMO

Is it? Main reporter Beth Rigby is so right wing it's embarrassing and Kay Burley isn't much better. It's obviously biased to the left.....However, I do agree with the point that this isn't a reason to shut it down.
If the west is to stand up for the values it was founded on then closing down media organisations because their politics doesn't fit goes against them.
As far as I'm aware all news broadcast channels lose money.

Sam Coates is just a typical Tory boy.
It's pretty lazy to state the station is left biased when the main 3 are clearly not.

The failing popularity of BBC & Sky News is to be lauded. However, it is still lamentable the big influence that the likes of Google-News has. More lefty drivel masquerading as telling you what is really going on in the World.
What is very significant is the stories that do not get much coverage. It is rumoured that RTE didnt much cover the murders & castrations of those Gay men in Sligo, by an Islamist. When the news-story first broke. Little or No coverage until there was a tsunami of clattering on other news sources. However, only a rumour that is difficult to prove.
Tons of big historic stuff happens and is rarely covered in the news. Treaties signed, new laws enacted, people murdered, Billions invested...........all happening in silence.
