Should OG walk

OG will understand with Marc, he asked to leave last night so nothing we could do but take the money now.

Igor is going West Ham so cant blame it on that, Canvot looks a good prospect but we need a starter CB. Pino will be good, depth added at LWB, also got the getafe guy who's a CM who can go up top. It's disappointing and slow again but we've had a good start and should get these all over the line. I dont think its as bad as it looks.

If as is suggested an assurance was given that a suitable replacement would be in place before Marc leaves and that assurance is broken then he will go.

His stock is high across Europe and he will easily get another job.

If this happens it is all down to oue Chairman who demonstrates that at a time when we should be moving on, we are moving back.

That's a.nice spin. It is a bad as it looks though, bear in mind we play with 3 at the back and at the moment, we have 2. But yeah, not as bad as it looks though.

“I told the chairman we have to keep Marc if we want to play a successful season. We have no chance to find the right replacement in one day. We all agreed that we just sell Marc if we have the right replacement in the building.

“We wanted a replacement by 1 July. It is 31 August and we have no replacement. We have this agreement so it is clear from me. He is such a crucial player. He is one of our key players – he is our captain.”

Seems very clear that the manager had/has expectations regarding the MG situation. What does that mean going forward, who knows.

I don’t blame Parish for selling Guehi and Glasner should accept the reality of the situation. Having said that Parish has made a mess of things by not having a replacement. I suspect we’ll get the old “I tried but it’s a difficult market”

+ Solomon. If Guehi stays it looks good but neither the captain or manager will be at all happy. And the shambles of the European debacle and failing to replace Freedman in a timely fashion are also reprehensible
Parish should go for the good of the club - but he is a narcissist and feels he being Chairman is best.
