Should OG walk

Given the comments after villa game and todays events I for one wouldn’t blame OG if he walked I know money matters but Parish has overstepped the mark with todays decision From the heady heights of last May and this seasons start Steve should have given him his full support and if Marc had to go he should have found a suitable replacement instead of last 4 hours and a Brighton loan Typical palace after 60 years thought finally we were up there with the top clubs but won’t happen when OG walks

I suppose Mourinho is free and he always had a soft spot for us. I'd prefer a far more fired up Mourinho than his current version, however. I'm just making s*** up but I wonder if we could inspire him/ give him his mojo back?

Left field would be someone like Popovic - who I believe has done well where he is.

Then there are the usual suspects. I think health rules Roy out. But there are Pardew and Southgate hanging around Parish a bit. Out of Southgate and Pardew, I'd prefer Pardew. I don't know what that says about the England manager.

I would be pissed if he did , oh dear im not paid to guide and make players better , you can tell a good coach he can make any team play no matter the quality of the squad , and get results , so if he thinks he cant do that then piss off and get someone who can , saying that I dont think he will walk

It think it's a touch naive from Oliver Glasner really.

For a club like Palace we simply can afford for players like Guehi to walk away next year for nothing. If we did, then we would have far less money to find a suitable replacement.

I would have thought that Glasner would have been aware of the type of club we are, ie. We do not have the spending power of the likes of the top clubs. Also, our players will want to join those top clubs if they come calling. That's where we sit in the chain.

Unless, of course, promises were made to him which we have not been informed upon.

Obviously, the Leverkusen job has become available today, again they have sold many of their best players.

I think he will see out his contract and then next year he will doubt have some bigger clubs come calling.

No!!

he’ll knuckle down and get on with it is my guess, because he’s got a bit more about him than the average knee jerk reaction supporter…….and not many managers walk away from lucrative contracts these days
Absolutely, he is a pro. The worry is if the manager feels certain understandings have not been honoured, he might feel less inclined to turn down any offers that come along.

He’ll get on with it until the first bigger job offer comes along. Should be within the next month.
Been shafted by the Board.
Here we are 2 hours left rummaging around in the bargain bucket to try and replace our club captain.
Complete lack of ambition by the Board to try and improve their investment.

The questions I would ask Steve Parish is did he agree with Oliver Glasner that a replacement for Marc Guehi had to be in place by July 1st?
If he did that then what does that say not only to Oliver Glasner but to any potential future Palace manager?

I like everyone else hope he doesn't walk, but I am worried to say the least. To say the other players will "down tools" is just silly. This is football. If we had crap players that no one wants we wouldnt be in this position. What do you prefer?
