Always presumed it was because Ireland was a Kingdom, Scotland was a Kingdom but Wales not so. Incorporated into England via being a principality. History wise.

Gutted for Hearts. Not just because I hate celtic.
The same 2 teams won the league last 40 years. celtic won 14 of the last 15.
Would have been good story.
