Does anybody know the history of why Welsh clubs are in the English leagues, but Scotland is a totally separate League ? Norn Iron is similarly a mediocre joke - but even worse still.

Always presumed it was because Ireland was a Kingdom, Scotland was a Kingdom but Wales not so. Incorporated into England via being a principality. History wise.
