I've just been listening to the Judge's remarks in his sentencing of Urfan Sharif, his wife and brother.
Words fail me. The level of cruelty is off the scale. It went on for years, worsening over time. I shan't go into the details but it shook me. Merely locking someone up for this crime seems a totally inadequate punishment.

It raises a question for believers - where was God for all the years this little girl suffered so horrifically?

I have had a lot of dealings with Social Services. IMO most social workers just want to be nice to everyone and can’t see any bad in anyone. However in this case I suspect the ethnicity of the family had an influence in any decision. Don’t get me started on the judge who gave the scum custody.

There were Muslim riots earlier in the year when the social services tried to remove kids from a house. It is all about not upsetting the community for sure. Same way a Hamas rally is allowed to go on without police intervention. Oh the kids in this case were given back the next day. One wonders what the future holds for these specific children but if they are abused or worse it will be faded away with false information.
 
A despicable and awful crime.
The pair of them absolute scum. This home schooling thing should have rung alarm bells. I’m sorry but anyone who does that should be visited unannounced and is entry is refused the police should be called to force entry.
They should both rot in hell the pair of them and no one will shed a tear if someone sorts them out inside.

Let them rot. There is no excuse.
 
Unfair to blame Social Services. They are underfunded, understaffed and overworked. The father was
crafty keeping Sara's bruises hidden. And yes they have to tread on eggshells when dealing with Muslims.

It comes down to the fact that Urfan Sharif was unbelievably cruel and vile. Aided and abetted by his wife and brother.

I'm 73. This has shocked me to the core. I'd have to think long and hard to think of a suitable punishment for Urfan Sharif.

Put him in lock up with his fellow Muslim prisoners and then tell them he's converted to Christianity. That should do the trick.

I tend to agree but one has to wonder why school didn’t report their suspicions ( was this because of the family being ethnic/muslim?) we may never know.
I am not a great supporter of the death penalty but in this case…… Kudos to the family in Pakistan who “encouraged “ them to return and face the music.
As an aside, another alleged student who, it would seem, had no intention of leaving after his studies ( if indeed he did ever study)
 
I found it a bit sickening that her birth mother apparently said that Sara's death would leave a huge hole...precious angel etc etc despite her apparently trying to drown the poor kid, which was the reason she was sent to live with those other two monsters in the first place.

What a life that poor kid must have led. And still she was seen singing and strumming her guitar in that footage that could not have been taken so long ago.

I sat on a jury a couple of years ago on a case where the kids were sent to live with their father after the mother killed her new partner. The kids ended up getting sexually abused and raped by their father. This happened in Eastbourne. Sra Sharif died in Woking. Not exactly places you'd think of straight away.

I'm not sure how we've allowed these types of animals to lead their lives so as to allow torture of kids. The system seems to constantly fail them. But it's not just the system. It's the parents. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM 😡😡😡😡😡

Extract from BBC article Sara Sharif: Smiling, singing and dreaming of X Factor

"In March 2023 teachers at the school noticed bruising on Sara's face, and told Surrey County Council Children's Services.

The Children's Services investigation into the bruises took six days and the school was asked to monitor Sara.

This ended when Sara was taken out of school the next month."

Once "Home Schooled" there was little or no follow up.
