Sarr I’ll grant you but JPM and Kamada are out of contract at the end of the season and will leave on free transfers
I’d add Sarr was trying to get himself sold this summer off the back of a great season and still nobody made a serious bid. This season he has sulked and contributed nothing. If that carries on we will be able to sell him but for a lot less than people think given his age.

Watching Spurs play Chelsea off the park. All the teams at the bottom end of the table with the exception of Coventry and maybe Sunderland look like they have improved dramatically. They look much better than us. We need to see an immediate improvement tomorrow or it is hard to see the board has any other option but to change things. Make no mistake we are firmly in a battle for survival
We only have to play them next Saturday!
Most certainly a defeat and should we get beaten by Newcastle our position in the table will not make for pleasant reading after the Tottenham game.
I do not agree that Coventry and Sunderland have improved dramatically, the former have lost their last 2 games and the latter have been defeated in their last 4 PL encounters.

Yea agreed on Coventry and Sunderland which is why I said they were an exception

It's extremely important that we catch up as soon as possible with Hull and Ipswich on points. They've had fairly decent starts but they can be dragged downwards if we win tomorrow. The table seems to be correcting itself this week. Spurs were never going to stay down there, Bournemouth are also in a false position after losing a lot of points very late in games. I fully expect them to beat United tomorrow.

That'll then leave us, Sunderland, Coventry, Hull and Ipswich as the true teams to battle relegation this season. Possibly throw in Newcastle as they seem as chaotic as us and maybe Fulham. You'd expect Forest to slowly improve as surely they can't continue to miss so many chances.

Kamada, Mateta, Sarr in your opinion aren't saleable assets, that we would get a return on!!
I mean, all players have a paper value, but none of these are saleable in a way that's going to give us any reasonable transfer market muscle.

You tend to get the biggest fees for younger players as they still have sell on value, or at least can provide more years of service.

Kamada is 30, and it seems like none of the big clubs came in for him when he was available for free, so I doubt very many would buy him for a notable sum.

Mateta is nearly 30. When he said he wouldn't be re-signing with us there was no great scramble of big clubs trying to sign him. Same again last summer. We paid about £15m for him I think, once the loan and transfer fee were paid. Even if we had sold him to Milan last January we'd have made £15m on him. Not exactly Megabucks.

Sarr we might turn a more healthy profit on. He cost about £15m I think. Still, 28 now, and last year was one of the only seasons in a 10 year career to date that he had an impressive goals return. A lot of that was against poor opposition in Europe, too. What does that add up to? £40m? Maybe slightly more of we can mug someone off?

I really like him for Palace. I'd give him a big contract. I don't think he has the big clubs chasing him in reality, though. Liverpool ended up spending £100m on Barcola so they obviously had the money to twist our arm if they thought Sarr was really that good. They didn't.

I don't think any of these are the kind of walking blank cheque that we had before.

I have been conversation with some supporters who have no qualms whatsoever about Dyche being appointed manager of our club.
If we change manager it will be because basically it’s become a shambles with complete disorganisation in the team and the risk of losing too much ground in the relegation battle. Basically what happened to West Ham last year. If the board thinks we are in that scenario they need to change quickly (West Ham left it too long) and bring in somebody who can bring immediate organisation like Pullis did. While Dyche doesn’t fill me with excitement he fits the bill.

Hopefully we win tomorrow, get a positive result at Spurs and it all becomes a moot point

A win percentage of 35% might be slightly qualm inducing.
A 35% win percentage would get us around 32 points from the remaining 30 League fixtures. Just about enough to keep us up.

Lose tomorrow and Sage will have a league win percentage of 25%. That gets us around 23 points from the remaining 30 games. Almost certainly not enough to keep us up.

Clearly Sage has a very small sample size but that’s the cold, hard maths the board would do

I am not discounting a win tomorrow against a Newcastle team who have last 3 out of their last 4 games 2 of which were 4-1 defeats away from home.
Apropos Tottenham away from home 'No hope and Bob Hope'.

He is the man we need, he will play to the strenghts of the players, he will B******k anyone who doesn't give 100%, there will be no Tippy Tappy s***e, if the current 46.7, think that Sage has the knowledge, experience, tactical awareness or steel to put the situation right, they are sadly deluded, the Glasner is a good manager brigade.

Dyche is an ok manager, but I don't see him as a good fit for our current squad.
Perhaps when we had the likes of Dann, Puncheon, Delaney and Ward - but not now.
Apparently it was the international contingent in the squad at Forest who didn't take to him at all and were instrumental in his sacking.
It may not be the way it should be, but player power in increasingly prevalent in the modern game.
Even the likes of Fergie would struggle these days.
Viera got rid of Derry as coach when he told the players a few home truths; you can't bruise too many egos or you'll have their agents calling in with sickies for their clients.
