Big ask here but I would beg you all to get behind this manager and show him we want him to succeed. He's finding his feet in the toughest of leagues as well as a European campaign and for my money he was dealt a shabby hand in the transfer window and also the new players are getting used to a new club, manager and league.
Parish and the useless c*** Hobbs owe the bloke in my opinion and if they knew anything about the game, should have realised we needed premier ready defenders bought in.
Yes Sage has made some errors chopping and changing the back three won't help him.
He should be playing Lerma in the middle, Richards right and Canvot left and stick with them.
As for the rest they owe it to him and us to get their arses in gear and start a bloody game like they're lives depend on it.
Hopefully Sage gets time to implement what his style is and we move on from all this doom and gloom, sack him bollocks.

I think you have inadvertently proved our point.
They aren’t playing for him.
When the team down tools it’s the end.
Whether you agree or not the rumblings about the treatment of certain players and the consequential significant drop off in those players form tells its own story.

The conudrum facing the board is that we failed to replace our two centre backs properly and the board will be feeling responsible for those missed opportunities in the summer, remembering the primary candidate failed the medical and of course we left it all too late as usual. On the other hand, if they wait on Sage until January and get in replacements, we could be right at the bottom, based on our current defensive capabilities. The pivot point will have to be the International break in November, so a replacement candidate will have be lined up by then. It is Newcastle, Spurs and Liverpool. A win, draw, loss is a minimum expectation, 4 points from 9. Anything less and Sage is gone. Europa league performances will also inform the board on whether the players are supporting the manager or going through the motions.

If I were a gambling man, my money would be on Thomas Frank entering the building on November 9th latest and possibly if it really goes bad, then after Spurs and before the Liverpool game. I feel for Sage, as he does not have the defensive resources he would have liked, but on the other hand, he has not helped his cause by persisting with tactics that leave a leaky defense continually exposed. He has options, but continues with a system our players cannot execute on.

It is also notyeworthy that Glasner has some terrible results as well and our form has been off since last January, when Guehi decided to go and Lacroix was the only decent CB left on the pitch. Does anyone think Richards would be an automatic starter in any other mid table and up team? Its not rocket science, but apparently to those in charge it is......

Yes I think if we ship goals against Newcastle and Spurs and don’t win one of them games he’s gone

And btw, watching spurs v cov at the moment they look a different team with Maddison, which is a worry for us
All other clubs are beginning to show some fight and form which we must emulate,or find us potentially bottom of the table if results go against us,as soon as next week.

Already trying to find 3 worse teams. Pinning my hopes on

Sunderland
Forest
1 or 2 of the promoted teams
And of course the PL lawyers against City

I think we are the worst team in the Premiership….by some margin. Two very lucky wins are papering over massive cracks. Fulham and Forest deserved to batter us. We got exactly what we deserved against Brighton. We have fallen far and I cleave the board. Resenting us with a hotch potch of free transfers and loans. Instead of wisely reinvesting the money from selling our superstars.

Only teams I think that will end up in the relegation fight will be us, Sunderland, Fulham and the 3 promoted sides despite their reasonable starts. Newcastle might flirt with it for a bit. Then of course there's the question of City's sanctions.

Forest and Spurs will not stay down there.

Unless of course the issue is that he IS implementing his style but is finding what worked in the French league gets you regularly beaten in the Premier League. Looks to me like the issue isn’t so much that the players aren’t implementing Sage’s tactics but that the tactics (play high up the pitch) are all wrong.

I agree with you, it’s not about getting behind the manager. As a fan I want him to succeed. However, your points about the team, morale, form and the terrible tactics says it all. I just can’t see it changing sadly :-(

Seriously, it is the style/ formation, bad coaching, NOT the players if you cant see it now, you never will, what is the common dominator of the 2 worse teams in the Premier League, Forest and Us, answers on a postcard,
