And given that hr's already throwing his toys out of the pram at his new club, I'm not sure I'd want him.
He might realise now when he’s got his feet up back home in Austrian after the inevitable bullet, how lucky he was with us to have taken over a good team of players and it’s not all about throwing money at it like Mary knickers

Some what Dyche so I looked up his record in the Premier. He avgs just one goal a game for . Concedes 1.5 goals. So at best we score 38 goals a season. But Concede 57 . Don't you really what that .
Also image we score 3 goals in a match in 2 games still have 36 games to score 32 goals . Get your pillows and blankets here for a good sleep at our games
What the manager (Sage or otherwise) needs to do is to turn the flood of goals flying into our net into a trickle, and then turn off the tap altogether, then we can play on an even field. At least this would give us some chance of picking up a point here and there and would improve moral, as there is absolutely no way this side is going to outscore the opposition as things stand.

Nuno now available....haven't checked but has Hobbs ever employed him....Willo ??!!
Nuno managed Wolves 2017-2021, Hobbs was appointed DOF at Wolves November 2022.

However Hobbs, who never played football at high level had been at Wolves for before this, rising from part time scout over a number of years. He doesn’t seem to have been at any other clubs.

So while it’s not unlikely that the two men are familiar with one another, it looks like Nuno has never been employed by Hobbs, and Hobbs was not responsible for Nuno’s departure in 2021.

Didn't we try and get Nuno Espirito Santo previously but he went to a so called bigger club? He's had a pretty dismal run since then, though I vaguely remember he was perhaps 'unlucky' to be sacked by Forest, something about a disagreement with their owner?. But he can organise a defence alongside counter attacking football. Pretty much our DNA since we got promoted to the PL.

We were strongly linked with Nuno before.
As I recall there was a problem with him wanting to bring a vast (and expensive) entourage with him which Palace baulked at.
At the time there also was a story that our interest in him wasn't mutually reciprocated.
His Wolves team was a very good one with 3 at the back and emerging Portuguese talent further forward.
At one point it was suggested that the Portuguese 'super agent' was selecting which players would join.

So the same number of goals scored that we are currently on pace for under Sage but with a better defense?

Personally I consider that his greatest triumph

But, yes, another to add to the list of experienced Premier League managers who are available to replace Sage if he's sacked who all have failures on their CVs. It's not an inspiring collection.
Those who don't have failures on their PL CVs are already at one of the big clubs or are looking to get a job at one of them.; they're not oing to take a chance on Palace and risk their reputation.

think he went to Spurs?

Thanks for the answers. It looks like more a question of when than if, I assume. Is "severance pay" an issue for a club like your, or it is a minor subject?
Yes he would need to pay Parish for his time wasted getting contracts in place etc but Parish is a nice man and may let is slide and you can have him back.

I f***ing love it. The Fat One must be sitting wanting to f*** him off but is trying everything to go against his nature. You know Ollie is in trouble when he starts referring to himself in the third person.Honestly in a season of s*** it is the only small joy I am getting. I f***ing cheered the other day when they lost... I mean proper cheered.

He was supposed to be gone after Brighton.
He was 'definitely gone' if Spurs beat us.
And yet here he remains, taking the press conference tomorrow and presumably the next 2 games.
It reminds me of Mark Twain's retort on his reported death,
' reports of my demise have bern greatly exaggerated. '

The board are sleep walking us into a disaster. We should be using these next two games as important learning curves. Before the big opportunities after the Liverpool game.
