There isn't, just the delusional that removing Sage will make it all magically better.
I do agree - who will turn these mediocre players in Prem players ? Sean Dyche you have to be dreaming he will be a nightmare

We invested in a mediocre bunch of replacements- it sits with Parish & Hobbs

This team this manager need more time - ie look at Brighton !

Steve needs to get a move on if he wants a bigger outcome than last season it sits with him !

Hobbs gave a lot of money back to Wolves for JSL & wasted a crap load on Johnson - we could have got x4 players for that price

Parish the crowd were as lackluster as the game , Parish if you think the coach has lost the team then you have lost the supporters!

Dont blame the coach when Pulis , Holloway & Glasner walked because of crap on field investment

Who is the leader on the pitch ? No one

Preach on! Sage will be done before Christmas but he'll be taking the axe for the actions of others.

Those replacements needed to be found two years ago, not today. We don't have the budget to pull that some other clubs do. So now we'll take the beatings and slowly build back up to good.

So. Just to be clear you are saying the team and players are not playing at Premier League standard so we give them more time to be not at that standard? Errr ok

Holloway didn’t leave because of on field investment. He left because he wasn’t up to it. Pullis left for his own financial reasons as did Glasner. If Glasner was really worried about player investment would he have joined a Forest team who sold their best player.

Yeah, I'm looking at Brighton. They have been in the EPL since 2017. How long have we been in it? 13 years- says it all, doesn't it? And you're saying our team and manager need more time, lol.

Don't agree with Parish being at fault. Sage has got schooled time again for a poor defence and yet we see no improvement what so ever. The crown can see it so why cant he. Canvot is different player to last season, like a rabbit in the headlights. Richards is now unprotected and exposed. Disasi, loved at West ham last season looks like he is just here for the money.

Lecroix wanted gone and Guehi was going whatever. So mr manager sort out your defence! I also think you're crazy saying Parish has lost the crowd, you don't speak for me.

But I go agree we have no leaders, Wharton is no captain. I also blame the fat Greek for the loss of atmosphere, I wouldn't want to have a law suit thrust on me by a billionaire when I'm just a common supporter.

I’ve said already Sage has to go, otherwise it’s the championship for certain next season. Another reason I can think of from today is that he kept Wharton, Kamada and Mitchell on throughout. All three played Thursday night and were shattered today. We had Hughes and Lerma on the bench as well as Chilwell. With the midfield two having to work so hard at least Hughes could have got some minutes. Appreciate they aren’t starters but change it up in the midfield to freshen it up. Plus Wharton is lost out there at the moment. Is it because he’s been made captain? I’ve lost faith in Sage and am fairly sure with all the matches we are playing another manager would organise our midfield better? It really is a mess tactics wise and just can’t see how it can be rectified by Sage. We need a new manager / coaching team in now, before it’s too late :-(

I have been proved wrong yet again, par for the course.
Just Tottenham and Liverpool in the PL to follow !
We are well and truly in the mire.
Yes, but then we are Palace, and have been known to do the unexpected against both those teams (and especially against Liverpool) but to be honest, after today, I'm expecting our total points after the Liverpool game to be the same as we currently have, which will almost certainly place us in the relegation zone, where we may well stay for most, if not all of the season, given our current resources.

Before handing the reigns to Woody Johnson to make decisions such as who the CEO is you might like to check out the New York Jets which he owns. Generally seen as one of the worst run teams in American sports and a byword for nepotism and incompetence. They are a running joke in the US. Recent highlights included Johnson’s sons rejecting a player because his computer game version didn’t have good enough stats in a game they were playing.

I would politely suggest we would like Mr Johnson to have less influence, not more
I'm not a fan of Woody, but I will say that his Jet's finished 3rd on two different occasions, what has been Steve's best finish in the Prem? 10th?

Unless I’m missing the blindingly obvious, which is entirely possible on a Sunday evening, surely Sage has managed to identify the problem and then proceed to make it worse?

In his interview, he acknowledges that when the full-backs played deeper, we had more space and created opportunities. He then talks about the opposition pinging balls into the space behind us. So having identified that, why on earth would you push your wing-backs even higher and create precisely the space you’ve just admitted is causing problems?

Now, I appreciate I lack Mr Sage’s tactical genius, but surely that’s the entire bloody issue? It’s like looking at a wall, deciding the paint might still be wet, and then sticking your entire hand in it just to confirm your suspicions.

And as for highlighting the two quick turnovers against Beşiktaş that led to attacking opportunities, that’s all very well, but Beşiktaş weren’t particularly good. This is the Premier League. If you’re going to press that aggressively while leaving acres of space behind, a half-decent side will pick you apart. A genuinely good side will absolutely trounce you.

The most worrying thing isn’t even that we’re making these mistakes. It’s that Sage appears perfectly capable of identifying them in his interviews, yet seemingly incapable of doing anything about them on the pitch.

Other teams have figured us out. The question is, why hasn’t our own manager?

I was sitting on the fence after the Brighton game but think he has to go. Although i think Dyche can do a job i just feel like the playing style will suffer and in 2 years' time we will be still struggling to stay up and not playing with any style making it harder to recruit players. I think Mckenna would be my choice.
