Romaine Esse

The player I have seen that click bait reckon we want is the guy at Genk who plays in Munoz position. But i only saw him in highlights on You tube. He looked hot. Can't remember his name. Al something. Looks like a Munoz on steroids if that is possible.

El Ouahdi?

Pino has shown touches of class but needs to adapt to the physical nature of the premier league. He will benefit when Sarr is back from AFCON and Mateta's knee injury clears up.
Canvot looks like he will become the enforcer type of defender and physically he is going to be a beast. I see him more of the role Konate plays for Liverpool as opposed to the sweeper kind of role Lacroix plays for us.
Esse is the one i am not sure about. He said the right things when we signed him in terms of learning and binding his time but when the opportunities have come when Eze moved and playing against the lesser teams in Europe he has not put his hand up.

I hope I am wrong, but we seem to have made some bad choices in young players, Franca, Plange, Ebowei, Ahamada etc, there is nothing to be glad about for any player to fail, I think Esse will go all the way to the top, just with that piece of power and technique for Coventry against Stoke shows me he has got it, IMO a left footed Semenyo in a couple of years.
I did say earlier going to coventry was a good thing he his still very much on learning curve , he come to us to raw , I know you stuck with Eze and I could see why , but this kid his 2 stages behind him , gets game time and prove is worth at coventry then maybe come back , but if he regress then sadly like alot of young talent they hit a wall and dont get better , I stuck with Mateta and still do , so heres hoping

Cant wait for esse to prove most of you wrong when glasner leaves
You might have to wait a long time. In the two games against his old club, Esse was mediocre in the 1st and downright awful in the 2nd. They knew how to nullify him. If a Championship club (albeit one that new his game well) can do it, you can be sure PL clubs would very soon cotton on.

I want him to do well but he's not Eze, just Esse, and he has to show he can play as part of the team and not just to show off his party tricks.

I am very dissapointed with Eze, he had all the talent, but something is missing from his drive and ambition, he says he wants to go to the top, but his body language doesn't agree, sad, but i think Esse has the arrogance that managers don't like but self confidence and arrogance are very similar.

Has it ever occurred to you that we all want him to do well ? The fact that some on here don’t think he’s up to it is just opinion same as you have your own view on him.
I don't like Glasner, his manner, tactics or style, but i still want him to do well and Palace to win every game, like most we all have opinions, but we will be Palace fans all our life, unlike any manager.
