Have we heard any more updates on Doucoure?
I’m certainly not saying he’s the answer to our issues, but it would be nice to know how he’s progressing. Last update was end of January where he joined in Hart of the training.

I thought I'd watch, but despite us being 1 nil up within 30 seconds, watching from just one camera on the halfway line was most uncomfortable, so I've given up. Doucoure had touched the ball once.
Hopefully all goes well. It'd be great having him back as an option.

I think I saw Doucoure touch the ball once. Other than that he was completely bypassed and also didn’t look to get on the ball.

Well done too to Chadi. Since this thread started he’s been through all those steps that Cheick has ahead of him, and now I’d say he’s firmly established himself not just as an option, but a strong option.

The thought of him and Wharton playing together fully fit and on form is maybe wishful thinking but fingers crossed.

all these injuries, such a shame, Eze and Olise took turns to get injured and didn't play together as much as you'd want, one full season with both of them in the team and we would have ripped the prem apart like we did at the back end of '24. Always thought the combo of Doucoure's tackling and Wharton's awareness and first time passing would make the fastest and most lethal transition in football - love to see it, but not likely sadly. One has to recover fully and the other has to stay😒
