It’s like when following England at cricket. Perfectly acceptable to pray for rainDesperately wanting teams to lose, cos we can’t buy a win, it’s been a while but we’ve all had years of practice
There is no chance of West Ham catching us or the bottom two Obvs GazzaGood results today with both West Ham and Leeds losing.
Hoping for a point tomorrow to consolidate our recent improvement in form.
We have 11 games left so it’s laughable to think we will be relegated. The Charlton year more teams were in the league but we will be on 40 points anyway but that won’t even be necessary. There is no chance of West Ham catching us or the bottom two Obvs Gazza

I wish I had your confidence. Relegation is unlikely, but it's not laughable still to worry about it. It would not surprise me at all, based on the performances (rather than results) of West Ham, Forest and Leeds that they could all reach 40 points (not so sure about Spuds, but they have the players to go on a run). We have been poor for so long, and the more winnable games we have left could be nerve-wracking relegation 6 pointers. We will probably get the 5 points or so we need, but if performances remain at the level of last Sunday's game against Wolves, it is not a certainty. We have 11 games left so it’s laughable to think we will be relegated. Wolves have played much better in recent weeks. Much more solid defensively. We still played poorly but the aren’t the soft touch they were. Important week for us now in the League. Win one of the next three and we should be ok. Today is a long shot but you would hope we can get something from Spurs and Leeds.I'm not convinced that the disappointment after the Wolves game is justified. In their last 5 games Forest, Arsenal and Villa have either failed to beat them or lost to them. We picked up what now looks like a decent win.
Likewise, I was gutted after the Burnley game but they've also been somewhat resurgent in recent matches. They picked up a draw against Chelsea and were very unlucky not to get something from Brentford after being 3 down.

I'm trying to convince myself too except the name Oldham keeps popping out. Never ever say never you never ever know.We have 11 games left so it’s laughable to think we will be relegated. In the likely event that we succumb to a defeat this afternoon, we will still be 10 pts clear of W.Ham with 10 games to play.I wish I had your confidence. Since the start of January they’ve played 10 games, won 2, drawn 4, lost 4. Not exactly brilliant but better than they were. I can think of other teams over the same time with equivalent or worse records … us for exampleImproved?

If Willo is cautiously optimistic then maybe I should stop worrying !In the likely event that we succumb to a defeat this afternoon, we will still be 10 pts clear of W.Ham with 10 games to play.
I agree that relegation is unlikely and I suspect many supporters will be cautiously optimistic that we will survive the dreaded drop.
Wolves pretty free flowing and we didn't really allow that to happenI'm not convinced that the disappointment after the Wolves game is justified. In their last 5 games Forest, Arsenal and Villa have either failed to beat them or lost to them. We picked up what now looks like a decent win.

Gazza, I’m 90% confident as well, but as we both know, nothing is EVER straight forward being a Palace fan 🙈There is no chance of West Ham catching us or the bottom two Obvs Gazza
Don't mention Oldham, don't mention Oldham, don't mention Oldham.Gazza, I’m 90% confident as well, but as we both know, nothing is EVER straight forward being a Palace fan 🙈
Knowing our luck, they’ll still be a few twists and turns to come
