Really rinsed his critics and the people will decide in a by-election and not sneering leftists nor the establishment.

Farage has resigned as the MP for Clacton, triggering a by-election which he will stand in. This could be fun.

If he set an orphanage on fire, the people of Clacton would still vote him in.

Interesting move puts the nation to a huge cost for what? It achieves nothing.

Be interesting if Restore set their sights on Clacton as the result may not then be as clear cut as people think.

As for the speech not sure it had much of great substance.

But it was OK to slip Burnham in to become PM? Funny, since Labour apparently couldn't afford local elections.

Not saying that s to simply try to deflect to a similar situation does not justify this action.

Any by election created artificially should come at a cost to the party of the member calling the election..

I would hope Restore step down for this election considering the principle here.

I found the speech extremely valid. It exposed the behaviour of some media and of the state in their endangerment of Farage and his family.

You have to wonder if the issues between the leaders of Reform and Restore might see each trying to prove a point. This has the potential to split the vote and could allow a shift back to the Conservatives

The person who referred him to the Standards comittee is pretty adament that Farage is doing this to sidestep the charges. (as well he would accuse such a thing), and it's fairly suspect that Farage expained the reason for the 5m, but failed to even mention the latest accusations of 'gifts/funding' that should have been declared.

Still feels like a Witchhunt, and one that happens if your a big enough figure in British Celebrity.
