Cambridge University has a lot to answer for but even more guilty is Sir John Moore University who granted him his PHD. It was their original failure that started this.
My nephew who is autistic is currently doing his PHD in a branch of science. A PHD has to be original work, if this guy is now claiming his plagiarism is due to his neurodiversity then that is completely disrespectful to the many people who completed their PHD's despite their challenges.
I have noticed that there is one area that the media has chosen (so far) not to investigate and that is his claims about neurodiversity. They have ridiculed his claim that he was not literate until 18 (how could he pass his O and A levels). However how do we know if he is exaggerating his condition or if he even has any condition. Even if what he says is true that does not excuse his lies.
All in all he has done no favours to black people and people who have neurodiverse health issues.
Liverpool John Moore is a Polytechnic, it's not in the Russell Group, Liverpool University is. It is the same as Solent University, UWE, London Met, Aston University, Portsmouth University, De Montfort University and many others in the second tier.
It means that the competition to get in is second tier, and the difficulty in the subject and student competition is considerably lower.
That should be the first warning sign. Oxbridge is entirely different, students there have 4 or 5 A* grades to compete to get in. They don't get in on C, E, E like you do at a former Poly
