Predictions for the second signing?

So at the mo it seems folks think diouf is the main target and nobody else really.
It does seem that way. Glasner did say at the start of the window that we have identified the two players we wanted and it was a case of getting them in. I suspect Doak was more a "We'll test the water, just in case Liverpool are willing to let him go for our kind of fee" attempt but Esse was always the right-sided attacking target that the club expected they'd end up with.

I'm assuming that Diouf is the LWB the club really want and that there aren't any others available at our kind of fee that we want. It's interesting that we've waited till now to go back in for him - have the club been told there might be sufficient wiggle room in Prague's valuation to have another go?

I think we were probably all systems go on the Esse deal and weren't thinking about Diouf while that was happening. I've defended the club a lot this transfer window, but you'd think a Premier League club would have the capacity to work on more than one signing at once, surely?

Ian Holloway knew how to bring in about 15 'players at a time although there wasn't a queue for many of them.
