Doesn't seem to be a lot of pre season preparations planned this summer. Surely we should be taking part in a mini tournament somewhere?

I’m hoping we’ll do a tour of Kent, playing Sittingbourne, Sheppey United and Maidstone United, then I might be tempted to go 😁

My local club played Sittingbourne in the playoff final this year. I didn't go, although I went to the semi final against Margate which was the best atmosphere I have ever experienced at a non-league game. We've pinched their goalie now.

Anyone remember when Ian Holloway recruited 12 odd (and some of them really were odd) players and took our newly promoted side to the Broadfield for (I think) a 3-0 defeat?

That was a truly dismal day and I am yet to see a pre-season against Crawley that's been enjoyable.

Burgess Hill👍 Sittingbourne got 101 points and lost to them on penalties in the play off final. It’s tough at that level with only the champions going up automatically

Yes, Sittingbourne deserved it more than us not just because of their points/position but they were banging in goals left right and centre. Hopefully they'll compete for 1st next season.

The shootout was crazy, we missed a penalty at 3-2 which would've won it, then Sittingbourne stepped up and did exactly the same.
