Potter To West Ham

West Ham fans think they are a big club who play the West Ham way. I'm not sure that potter will provide that.

Weren't we linked with Lopetegui before OG?
Has Potter been hanging on hoping for the WHam job or has he realised nothing better is coming along?

Perhaps the fact he is still being paid by Chelsea has something to do with him not rushing into another job 😂

Moyes' record at W.Ham in his second and recent spell included 6th and 7th place finishes in the PL and winning the Conference League.
In his first spell, when he was appointed after 11 PL games W.Ham were in the relegation zone and they ended that campaign in 13th place.

Apparently he was seriously considering the Leicester job in the summer but he took too long to make up his mind and so they got Cooper instead.

West Ham hierachy have behaved disgracefully again, especially their director of football (the one that Moyes banned from the training ground).

And we'll see just how good Potter is cos I get the impression that he has a rather inflated opinion of himself!
 
I think this is a mistake for Potter, he wont get much time to implement anything new at WH, they aren't exactly known for patience & understanding when success on the field is limited, they will certainly need to get someone in to score goals as a matter of some urgency with both Antonio & Bowen out of the picture, I can see things getting worse for them before they show any signs of getting better.

They have a tricky cup game away against Villa in couple days so the possibility of going out in this round is quite real -

Then Fulham & Us in the next 2 league games, if they don't get any points from either of those 2 games it will seem a long Jan.
 
Early days for Potter at West Ham, but I was never keen on the idea of him coming to Palace. I just have a sense that he'll turn out to be one of those managers who was at the right place at the right time when he was with Brighton, but will be unable to replicate that success elsewhere.
