It's hilarious that owners are sometimes the root cause of many things wrong with a club, and yet they sack those best equipped to get them unstuck.

About 20 years ago Leroy Rosenior got sacked by Torquay after 10 minutes when there was a club takeover and the new owners installed their own manager. Compared to some of their subsequent appointments his was probably one of the more successful.
