It's hilarious that owners are sometimes the root cause of many things wrong with a club, and yet they sack those best equipped to get them unstuck.

About 20 years ago Leroy Rosenior got sacked by Torquay after 10 minutes when there was a club takeover and the new owners installed their own manager. Compared to some of their subsequent appointments his was probably one of the more successful.

west ham aren't playing til monday at everton.

But it doesn't surprise me that west ham have one manager doing press conference for everton game on the friday and a different one taking training for it the next day.
