Southampton to win tonight then beat Hull imo

Both have managers who deserve gargantuan plaudits for their respective clubs.

When Eckert was appointed as 'Interim' manager this season, Southampton were 21st after 13 games.They ended the season in 4th place.
Hull last season ended in 21st Place, Jakirovic was appointed in June and they ended this season in 6th place.Hull of course have progressed into the Play-Off Final.

I did not have any time for Alex Neill last year when he effectively defended his keeper's kung fu kick. I mean WTF.

Fair play though to him and their players for getting to third place and them not being one of the upper wage bill in the division. But that's as far as my praise for them goes and I am bloody glad they didn't get promoted. The club always has had a nasty intimidating undertone, all of which is completely unnecessary. No doubt they'll be looking forward to a likely derby with West Ham next season, for all the wrong reasons.

Tho owner is a millwall fan, his boy worked in the orpington branch of Selhurst timber, told me they was all millwall, but I saw the son in the holmesdale in a Palace coat, he said Palace was easier to get to ?
Plus their uniforms have the Palace badge on , weird old turn out.

The closest they’re going to get to

selhurst next season is that massive advertising board at their ground that says ‘selhurst timber’ 🤣 I’ve always thought that must niggle them a bit

Easier to get to? Gillingham is easier to get to for me, but I think I’ll stick to palace 🤣
