Players lost in recent years that would get in now

I was having a think about players we've seen leave Palace in recent years (since we've been back in the prem) who are better than what we have now, and would likely get in the team if they were the same player as when we had them. I think there's quite a few. I realise that some departures are beyond our control, but interesting none the less.

Olise
Zaha
Andersen
McArthur
Cabaye
Speroni

These came to mind instantly. There's s probably more.

Another way of looking at it is how many of our current squad would get in our best XI of recent years ?

Peak Jedi is a player we could with. A real leader and a warrior. I think that's what we're missing with Andersen's departure too. He was the most vocal of our backline and seemed to organise things. Eze sometimes seems a fair weather player, shining when things are going well but disappearing when the chips are down. Despite all his theatrics and tantrums, Zaha was a player that you always believed would run through glass to get an equaliser or a late winner. I love Eze and he is a brilliant talent but I don't see that same desire in him. Maybe that's why a bigger club didn't move for him in the summer?
