Fans tell BBC Sport that a crackdown on touting is affecting some of the club's most loyal fans.

"I feel angry about it - they just want us gone," Andy, a season ticket holder for more than 35 years, who was informed his account has been restricted on Monday night, told BBC Sport.

Perhaps these Manc and Scouse supporters have been having a pay day by flogging their season tickets?

There are plenty of stories of supporters who have died and their family have just carried on buying their season ticket in the deceased names and then selling off the games they don't care about.

If you are a genuine supporter of the big clubs it must be hell trying to get a ticket through the club. So I have no sympathy if these people are being finally traced.

I understand the problem but they'll ploy the wrong solution if they're not careful
