Patrick Bamford

Bamford came to us as a young chap in his early 20s and on the back of a succession of loans.
Perhaps with the advancement of time, and maturity, he has reflected on his tenure at our club and he has asserted that he now regrets his attitude.
In life in general there are those who regret actions of the past. Perfection is not in the human gift.
Maybe not perfection but good manners?

I seem to remember Bamford was the subject of a clickbait article not so long ago, in the article it said something to the tune of not being in the best headspace when he was at Palace & his performances reflected that -
He behaved more like Bam Bam than Bamford a right sulky kid.

Sorry Willo, I thought you had mentioned his reflections?
As I mentioned, perhaps his recent comments expressing his regret was as a result of reflecting on his tenure at the club.
He was only in his early 20s and his maturity has shaped his mindset.

What I did find refreshing about Bamford was to discover many years ago that he did not believe that one should refrain from celebrating goals against former clubs.
Perhaps with the passage of time he now holds a different viewpoint.
