What can Wolves aim for this season?
Beating Derbys shocking 11pts in the 2007/08 season is it.
Now they obviously have enough games to do it but of course if you need to buck a trend or are in need of a pick me up Selhurst is the place to be.
Hopefully Palace will do the business Thursday to soften the potential blow of another embarrassing game on the Sunday.
So given our generosity in situations like this they could hit their target Sunday week 🙄 Being a natural pessimist i start every season with a reach 12 points mentality as the first hurdle , so the Wolves outcome is of interest to me at least- and could be very Palace if it goes pear shaped.
However, after my long winded warning of Palace dropping a bollock, 2-1 Palace
I hope…
Up the Palace!!

A must win game.

If we don't, we are in more trouble than people think. We might have 32 points, but when you look at our remaining fixtures, it's hard to see where we will pick up points if we can't even beat Burnley at home. The teams below us are unpredictable and still capable of putting a run together.

Our players must focus. There have been far too many mistakes in recent games. Our new players must understand what a relegation battle is all about. The time for casual is over.

If Glasner is still manager, we will lose.

It was two points for a draw.
After our game, Southampton drew away at W.Ham 1-1 and the 0-0 home to Man C increased their tally to 12 pts.
Southampton were confirmed relegated after their 31st game following the 3-1 defeat at Tottenham, Russell Martin was relieved of his duties and former Brighton U23 manager Simon Rusk was appointed as the interim manager.
Southampton were Everton's opponents in their last game at Goodison Park.

This is our cup final.
We must win this game to ensure a strong finish and to remain a mid-table Premier league club.

I didn’t realise Wolves are at home Wednesday night to Arsenal, so a chance to hit their 12 points before they play us, somehow i dont see that game changing the landscape for us Sunday !! 😳

Why do you in your wildest dreams do you think we will have a strong finish, after the dire disorganized performances we have been putting on for months.

Kamada to go in for a Kamikaze tackle and get sent off in the first half and we lose 0-1 . I can see it now . Another 50 pages baying for Glasner to get sacked and to take Kamada with him . Only to be ignored 😢

If Wolves have any sense, they'll just Roy Hodgson us.

Sit deep and let us fail in trying to create anything then hit us on the counter.
They dont have enough quality to do that. They had a better team last time we played them and even with a couple of injuries we had little trouble. I watched them play Grimsby yesterday and they were awful. If not for a couple of unlucky misses from Grimsby they would have at least faced extra time.

Of course on any given day a lesser team can overcome a better one. Leeds, Macclesfield and Burnley will testify to that. But.... I cannot believe we'd let a lead slip this close to collapsing against Burnley. I also feel JSL will be well up for this game. He has found form and any striker that tells you he doesn't like scoring against his old club is a liar. I think we have enough to win this one and I believe we will. If we do it'll be 6 points from 3 games which is not a bad return.

For Glasner to leave early Parish would have to pay up his remaining time and after the big spend in January I doubt if he could afford to. Unless of course, come April and we are in the throes of a relegation battle.

Because I'm not a doom and gloom merchant. While we're comfortably outside of the relegation zone, I'll remain positive as we are more than capable of getting a few wins to get us over the line.

By strong finish, I mean mid-table, which we are more than capable of. Look at the teams around us, I don't see Leeds or Fulham fans being as negative as some on here.

Should Palace lose this one, I'm more interested in how Parish will react. He's been quick to give the elbow to any manager that looked like threatening the club's Premiership status and surely a loss to Wolves will prove the final straw for Glasner?
