In fact I think Disasi will be out for our next three Premier League games as it was a straight red card for violent conduct.

I believe the red card was given for a reckless challenge as opposed to violent conduct and should therefore only attract a one match ban.

Why aren't players made to wear shinpads of a minimum regulation size. There are either mandatory for protection, or they aren't.

Wharton has the smallest shin pads going. They are the size of a quark

Because we are only a couple of weeks into integrating a new system. We've fixed the issue of not being able to score, now we need to fix the issue of conceding too many/re-addressing the balance.

We played well on Sat until the sending off. We weren't wide open like we had been against Everton and City. Even Boro.

Being objective, it was actually the most solid we've looked. Enciso was quiet, Benitez hardly had anything to do. And with 10 men, I'm not sure they had so much as an attack in the 2nd half until their goal. It was all us.

Most people calling for 4 at the back, have zero idea what they are talking about and if it would help. they are just calling for change. Which of course we could do.

Or we could knuckle down to fix the issues we have, with the plan thats in place.

I agree Robbo - in terms of chances conceded we were better against Ipswich than in the other games. I also thought transitioning the ball out from the back we were better without Canvot who seems to have to unload the ball to someone else to allow them to pass forward. I was impressed with Timber as well but although he scored i thought Khalaili was poor for most of the rest of the game and has a steep learning curb to get through. In the first 3 games we were very open and we could have conceded a lot more than we did. Saturday was a lot more down to individual mistakes than a tactical issue. If we get Sarr JPM and Nketiah back on the pitch we can put Kamada back in midfield which will give us decent options in there as well as decent options up front. With our current lack of pace up top teams can compress the play without fear of getting caught on the break.
