Palace Tattoo

I heard a similar story from a woman I know: she once met a man who had LPG tattooed on his and wondered why he was such a fan of Liquified Petroleum Gas.

He wasn't. She subsequently found out he came from

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
The version I heard it was a Canadian with Swan in his. Turns out he was from Saskatchewan

When I saw Palace tattoo was disappointed to see its about sticking a needle in you ,
I thought we was going to copy the Edinburgh tattoo with the girls leading then fanatics marching parish singing and god forbid someone playing bagpipes 🤣🤣

That’s the line I’m considering as well. It’s so unique to the moment. But I’ve never had a tattoo so I’m kinda 50:50 on whether to take the plunge. Highly conscious that at 44, I’d be a walking midlife crisis cliche.

If it makes you feel any better I turned 40 in May, panicked and got big tattoos on both arms having never had one before.

Definitely in midlife crisis territory but I don't regret it. Just do it, we're getting to the age now where who cares?

Had my only ‘proper’ tattoo done in my early 20s, Palace badge on my leg, fifty quid.
Have spend well over a grand having it removed in my 40s.
Used to love it , now , when I go out smart in the summer with a pair of shorts on, think it looks cheap.
Personal choice though, load of my mates are covered in them.
