That’s the line I’m considering as well. It’s so unique to the moment. But I’ve never had a tattoo so I’m kinda 50:50 on whether to take the plunge. Highly conscious that at 44, I’d be a walking midlife crisis cliche.
 
There's a story on Facebook about a Plymouth fan who got a Gareth Bale tattoo based on the, probably made up, story of his interest in the club. With the number of players we get linked to he wouldn't have an inch of skin left.

I am also 44, although had my 10th (and was meant to be last) tattoo about 5 years ago. Although that was a symbolic one when my son was born and as I have another son on his way in October I probably have to get another one in case I ever get accused of having a favourite. And yeah, some wording below my current CPFC tatt is tempting...

I saw that, the fella posted on there it’s not real it’s a mock up, but funny reading the comments 🤣

I’m glad I didn’t bother with the Dario Gradi tattoo back in the 80’s 😁
 
I’ve done the deed chaps and lasses, thanks to those that suggested having the date as 2025, that’s what I went with in the end

As my first tattoo it was a much better experience than I thought it would be. It hurt a bit, but I wasn’t bothered, what with the buzz of the machine and the comfortable chair I found it strangely relaxing

Looks good mate, nearly as good as mine 🤣
 
Got the left one done 6 weeks ago, booked it on the train home from Wembley that evening 🙂

I have the right one on the other side of that leg, done back in 2015 for that final, which is why I didn't opt for the eagle holding the cup.
