We all assume SP is the problem but we have a director of football. If he f*cks up this window after the January one he should be shown the door. Not moaning but I really would love to ask Steve P why we leave things so late every time. It is such an odd thing to do every single time.

Dougie will have served his 2 years in Saudi and not have to pay tax if he leaves. All he will have to do is put his kilt on and take his new private jet to Biggin Hill avoiding the Straits of Hormuz of course. We all assume SP is the problem but we have a director of football. I had the same thought. Not moaning but I really would love to ask Steve P why we leave things so late every time. It is such an odd thing to do every single time.

Your analysis ignores that we have a replacement for an aging Munoz in place and cover. So here we are not long before the window closes and we’ve failed to bring in a starting centre back, a centre midfielder or any of the main permanent targets we’ve been linked to.
Now some may say that is an absolute shambles which suggests that the club can’t find its backside with an atlas when it comes to transfer business.
However I counter that by saying look at how efficient we were in getting rid of two of our best players in Lacroix and Munoz. Top organisation that.

Honestly, there will be one or two surprises. There'll be at least one we've kept quiet. So here we are not long before the window closes and we’ve failed to bring in a starting centre back, a centre midfielder or any of the main permanent targets we’ve been linked to.

Yeah I was being a bit tounge in cheek about it all. To be fair to the club the right wing back situation is one where we planned ahead all be it we need to see if the replacement can step into Munoz’s shoes.Your analysis ignores that we have a replacement for an aging Munoz in place and cover.

Most of the stories are clickbait nonsense and how many players is Parish supposed to go after? What would be a revelation would be if the club identified a couple of key areas in good time and went after the players to fill them, and avoiding spaffing £90m in the January window. Not moaning but I really would love to ask Steve P why we leave things so late every time. It is such an odd thing to do every single time.
