Perhaps players hold out to the last moment hoping that Real Madrid will come in for them, even if Hartlepool would be a more appropriate destination.

Most of the stories are clickbait nonsense and how many players is Parish supposed to go after? What would be a revelation would be if the club identified a couple of key areas in good time and went after the players to fill them, and avoiding spaffing £90m in the January window.

Totally agree with you!!
I love the club but to let guehi and lacroix go without getting replacements is a shamble, getting loans in is not the answer as as soon as they leave we got to start all over again and results have already shown that!!
It will be same old story we tried but things fell through and only want players that fit in
