For anyone going to Spurs, if you get there early you can join a special welcome planned for Emily Damari - a British citizen who was brutally kidnapped including being shot and held hostage by Hamas in Gaza for around 500 days, until she was released in one of the hostage / prisoner exchanges.
It’s worth remembering that a few days after October 7th Steve Parish and CPFC put out a very strong and clear statement condemning the attack and expressing solidarity with Israel and her citizens at a time of great distress and sadness.
One of the things that kept Emily going through the terrible ordeal was her love of football, even as a Spurs fan…
Football is a great vehicle for bringing the world together and being there to support Emily will show that we are all one football family and that as Palace, fans and club, we care and remain committed to values of freedom, equality and respect.
There probably won’t be many Palace there realistically, so anyone who can make it will make a big difference! If you can get there it’s from 12-1:15pm.
