On the telly last night the Palace fans were really loud until the F EUFA song started, then obviously the microphone near them was switched down, and they could hardly be heard afterwards

Actually it's all to do with Strasbourg ultras protesting against multiclub ownership and being silent every game for 15min. Then they just switched on. Palace performance on the pitch wasn't helping either.

It's not racist to be concerned about illegal immigrantion. A fact some people do not understand.

And this is why reform will probably win the next election because people are fed up being branded a racist.

Yes, reminds me of David Cameron's contemptuous description of UKIP members (now Reform) as "fruitcakes and loonies and closet racists". I remember people calling in to radio phone-in programmes to state that they would be changing their allegiance from Conservative to UKIP.

I managed to get a ticket in the away end with palace fans in Dublin in a few weeks. I was really looking forward to sitting with our fans.

So after over 100 replies, plenty of people are pointing fingers but only one person saw what happened!

I arrived after the action as was polishing off a bowl of delicious spaetzle around the corner. Very inconvenient as the trouble killed the atmosphere, shut the bars and left us trying to find a decent boozer as time was running out for kick-off. And I didn't see any pubs open in the town after the game. 😫

I'd much prefer fans concentrate on supporting the team, who concentrate on playing football and winning games.

Agreed. When we moan about some of the refereeing decisions going against us, perhaps we should remember how corrupt UEFA are and they will want us out of their competition asap because of the chants

I don't know who did what to who. What I do know is that when you advertise your politics in the current environment and add booze, you are asking for trouble.

can’t believe I’m actually seeing palace fans (presumably ones part of the ‘addo’ group) on twitter/X who appear genuinely proud for starting on the HF because they are antifa, wave Palestine flags at games etc etc… it does genuinely surprise me how large the flag shagging gammon faction of our fanbase actually is.

I was about 1m away from where the first puch was thrown, but have no idea how it started. 1 second there was a big oldish bald bloke fighting a dude with a hood up, and a milliseccond later it erupted.

(the table next to us had just come back from the bar with 10 pints and a couple of bottles of wine, that all got smashed in the carnage)

Unnecessary and disappointing. Would have ruined a lot of peoples evening.

Slightly more seriously, we've already seen away fans banned quite recently. the UEFA chants also not putting the club in a good light.
Shelbourne already have loads of advance tickets from Palace. The Garda might be wondering if it's worth the hassle

Wasn't there but will be in Dublin..looks to me like too many Stella's may be some Charlie thrown in and bash bang wallop...seen it hundreds of times.in past with palace or any boozer come closing time....looks unsavoury perhaps but try going to Rome or Istanbul..u ain't seen nothing yet....safe trip back..God bless all
