Thank you. Otherwise I feel like you might find your problem doesn't get the sympathy from other Palace fans that you assumed it would. You don't speak for all of us with your coat problems, but we can't help but empathise at the sod's law nature of a product perishing only days after the expiry of a consumer agreement.

This has degenerated into the normal political sh!t flinging that any subject that involves a modicum of politics turns into, and it's wholely inappropriate now for Palace Talk.

I'm not going to bring my personal politics into this and having read the entire depressing thing from start to finish, I have but one question.

So I've never heard the Mateta chant personally and apparently it was "Boom boom boom boom, Mateta is a c***"? I'm assuming the c*** sounds like estwhile politician Jeremy Hunt? If so, was there more to this chant? As if that is it, whilst being insulting and not something you want to hear in polite society, it's not racist is it? If it was about the time he was trying to engineer that move to AC Milan and was deleting Palace from his social media (apparently that's bad?) and being a petulant child, well he was acting like a Jeremy Hunt, so that would be, actually, pretty accurate.

If there was more and it involved race, then yes, abhorent and no place for it in the ranks of Palace supporters. If it wasn't then let's not say it's something it's not, as that only serves to distract attention from the actual behaviour that every football club in this country needs to eradicate.

I'm assuming that it was a different word, one that rhymes. Which of course is abhorrent. Albeit, not sure it's frequent. I'd hope people singing that got themselves booted out.

While it's definitely an insult word we could do without, I agree with you and I fail to see what it's got to do with his ethnicity.

A lot of people were annoyed with him at the time over his want-a-way attitude.

I think it's another form of racism for people to assume that non white people can't be insulted without it being about race.

If you aren't white you somehow have to be treated differently.....its own kind of bigotry.

You don't get to claim "no politics" whilst making everything political, just in your own preferred political outlook.

If you really believe there is no need for such an organisation here, as many have claimed, what harm exactly is such an organisation going to do to you personally? Just ignore it and let others who want to engage with it.

This is the same you get on every other site where the political balance is not fifty fifty......Except on lefty sites you get banned when you're perceived as a troll.

Here you get it served back to you......Do you think he should be banned then.....Would that be better?
