Crystal Palace are eyeing a stunning move to sign Sporting CP defender Ousmane Diomande, according to Telegraph journalist Mike McGrath.

Sporting use a 3-4-3 system in Portugal, made famous by now Man Utd boss Ruben Amorim, and Glasner uses a very similar system at Palace which would undoubtedly help him to settle into the Premier League quickly.

High rated, fast and big ball playing defender. Would likely be excellent in our back three. Possibly an upgrade on Guehi. However, I would have thought teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid would be interested.
