Olympique Lyonnais

[doombear]

Team for today

Palace: Benítez (GK), Disasi, Richards, Canvot, Mingueza, Timber, Wharton, Mitchell, Pino, Sarr, Strand Larsen.

Subs: Matthews (GK), Benetton (GK), Khalaili, Ahanor, Benamar, Hughes, McNeil, Kamada, Osorio, Nketiah.

[Part Time James]

Sept - Six win to Palace.

Lyon ahead at half time, but a surprise surrender in the second half allows us back in.

Not bad team , but bench doesn't give to much scoring options . Yes Mateta would be a option if fit , still going for a win COYP

[rikz]

Would have liked Mitchell to get a rest but I take it Chillwell is injured.

From what I’ve seen Mingueza defends better than Khalaili but not as good going forward. Will be interesting to see how he gets on.

Funny you say this. He was the player I was most intrigued to see tonight.

Not according to EPL injury site.

Out of favour perhaps?

Didn’t realise Benamar was part of the Europa squad. I’ve watched him play a number of times and would say he’s an outstanding prospect - strong, quick and with a lovely left foot

Pretty sure Sage said he was injured (or unavailable!?) for today.

[Aray]

Where’s Lerma. Oh he’s not in the squad

[Part Time James]

Not enough goalies.

[JHB]

A bit surprised Honest doesn’t get a game. Also would have liked to see Pino get a rest. Wharton and Timber makes sense but shows the lack of options in midfield. They are going to play a lot of minutes this season or at least until they are injured and out for three months

Hughes will come on for Wharton on 65 minutes

Hughes will come on for Wharton on 65 minutes

And get booked

And get booked

He should save time and kick off on the bench in the first five mins. Get his booking and we can all put our bingo sheets down

Not named in the European squad.

I think mingueza is known for his crossing and assists (that's why in europa lge team of season). Great cross for jsl's 1st against m'boro too.

Think he comes under youth player. so thats a freebie

I would have thought he wouldn't even need to registered in the main squad but wouldn't be sure. Unlimited amount of club trained for three years U21s can be put on a b list. Heard he's a decent prospect.

Well I'm set 🦅🦅🦅
