Nottingham Forest vs. Crystal Palace match thread

I would have snapped your hand off for a point this morning - given our thread bare squad..!!

Parish has really got to do the do tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath.

We will see.

COYP..!!

A point isn't a bad point against a team away we never do well against. We are out of form with our best 2 midfielders not playing, a centre forward wanting away and various other injuries.
The main objective was not to lose, so they don't gain ground on us.

s*** second half but next week we have Kamada and Wharton back as well as a striker whoever that will be.

Full bench which will include Lerma, Hughes, Uche, Pino. Should be a much more satisfying effort, and the decider for Mr Glans-ner.
Guessand?

Agree this especially regarding the improvement in the squad next game.

When we look back this could be one of the RESULTS of the season. All you whiners who suggest otherwise have not been paying attention.

I disagree that our squad is that bad. If you think about our teams over the years, we don't have bad players. They're just not playing that well.
Glaring issue has become central midfield now. We've needed someone there for a while. Honestly, with just the addition of Guessand, our frontline should be better than it is.
Canvot and Riad will come good.
Johnson may even work out yet. Even Pino is improving.

That's not strictly true.
Since Dean Syche took over their form would have them in a Europa League spot, they just had a poor start to the season.
He's very difficult to beat and Glasner is useless against a low block.
Well they have lost 50% of their games this season and let’s be honest if we want to stay up these are the games we must win!

The side is lacking confidence after such a long winless run and appeared to lack the self belief to go on and get a winner against a poor Forest team with 10 men.

I suppose I should be pleased that next week we could have forward options of Sarr, Johnson, Guessand, Pino and Larsen wth Nketiah to follow.
It's better than having to rely on Uche, Devenny and Kamada in the front 3 , which we have had to do on occasions.
I'm not sure either Pino or Johnson would be too happy as a bench warmer, even if neither has done much to warrant a starting place.
I'm particularly disappointed with Johnson so far.
No real pace, aggression or desire to get in behind the defence and threaten and offers nothing in the build up.
He may show more running on to flick ons from Larsen, time will tell.

IMHO, Glasner is not the problem, just look at the bench today, nothing on there would change a game. Sadly the blame for our current situation goes why above OG pay grade!

I admire your optimism with Johnson but I do think it exceeds his ability.

3 points from 27. No goal from open play since Victorian times. Clueless against a low block, like all season. Conceded from a set play again. Those are all things that are on the manger. He’s clearly a big part of the problem
